ABOUT THE ARTIST
Creator, Designer, Plant Collector, Ocean Lover, Wife, Mom of a Girl, Boy and Fur Baby - I am happiest when spreading the love I find and the time I spend capturing that from a camera lens is life!
I come from a large family in California and have “created” as long as I can remember. I tease that my purpose in life is making the world pretty - but also, finding and sharing JOY... which happens to be my middle name too.
That sense of JOY is what led me to choose the name Heart Swell Studios, as I am always seeking out the found joys in everyday moments that inspire awe.
I see the world deliver heart swell moments every day and as an artist, it's my utmost pleasure to capture and share it with others to experience a heart swell of their own. I do that in the most genuine way possible, shooting in lovely comfortable places, helping you have a good time with the people you love. We aim to laugh, get smooshy, hug it out, and be goofy. If you want formal stand up straight portraits we can do that, but my design philosophy is to shoot the images you want to have up in your house that are gonna make you smile every single day.
“Photo Shoot Day” is my personal favorite day of the year, and I want you to have fun with your session and fall in love with having your photos taken too. Let the fam be excited about what they're wearing, bring a favorite Lovey, or have everyone wear superhero capes. Whatever it is, here's to finding, bathing in and celebrating all the heart swell moments of your life!

What are your hours?

I'm reachable by phone between 10-5, and available for callbacks as needed in the evenings. There is a good deal of flexibility when scheduling photo shoots to best accommodate everyone with the best shoot hours being early to mid-morning and later afternoon to avoid harsh overhead sun.

Where are you located?

While I'm a native California girl, I'm proud to call charming Rochester Hills, MI my home (located about 45 min north of Detroit).

How do I book a session?

Reach out by email with your desired time, date and purpose of your shoot. Please include any special requests, specific shot list ideas or other questions and I'll call you to discuss.

What payment options do you accept?

Venmo and PayPal are both easy ways to pay for your session. Please plan to put down a deposit to lock down your preferred date.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Life happens, but kindly reschedule your shoot if needed within 48hrs of your scheduled date & time to have your deposit get credited to your new date. Thank you!
